Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Mercure for a gourmet getaway, I was delighted to uncover a hidden gem nestled in the heart of enchanting Paris. The hotel's location, in proximity to a myriad of delightful eateries, including Le Bistro du Perigord and Sushi Wasabi, provided a culinary adventure just steps away from my doorstep. The buffet breakfast, a true highlight of my stay, was a culinary journey in itself. Served in the breathtakingly beautiful vaulted cellars dating back to the 17th century, each morning felt like a step back in time while savoring freshly baked viennoiseries. In the evenings, I found solace at Loulou Friendly Diner, the hotel bar, where a well-crafted cocktail paired perfectly with the day's adventures. The ambiance was inviting, the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the vibrant streets of Paris.Mercure's culinary offerings, coupled with its convenient location and historical allure, made my stay a gastronomic delight intertwined with French charm and hospitality.
